Kelsey + Andrew {Engaged} I San Ramon Valley Photographer

Um... What can I say?! I'm in love with love - and I'm in love with this couple! I seriously book the best couples - the ones that are meant to be together for a life time. The ones you meet and you just know it's the real deal. It's worked out quite amazingly that way. This couple is no different.
I first met Andy back in 2002 on a trip to Washington D.C. - we've even been to countless Dave Matthews Band concerts together. Fast forward 10 years, a few college degrees and real jobs later - I met Kelsey.  I swear it feels like I've known her my entire life - not only the 3 times we've met. Right from the get-go,  you could see the passion these two shared.  It just makes you giddy being in their presence.
These two are slated to tie the knot in August - but for now - you can see their engagement session - You will undoubtedly fall in love with them the way I have.

Andrea + Dan {Married}

In a beautiful garden of flowers, Andrea and Dan were married on August 18, 2012.  The ceremony and reception took place at the stunning Cambria Pines Lodge in Cambria, Ca.  Unique touches were showered through out the ceremony and reception.  From Andrea's antique ring, to her handmade veil, she was wrapped in beauty and tradition. Close friends and family looked on as the two exchanged vows and were announced as husband and wife.

Jennifer + Brad {Married}

Jennifer and Brad are married! A stunning ceremony took place at Round Hill Pines Beach in the South Lake Tahoe area.  Red roses and sea shells, sparkle and shine rang through this intimate ceremony and reception. A little rain and clouds  didn't stop with beautiful couple from sharing their love with friends and family. As the newlies began their first dance, the clouds parted and the sun shined down upon them - a wonderful sign that the two will surely share a wonderful life together.

An April Wedding in Danville

Now join your hands, and with your hands your hearts.
~ William Shakespeare ~

It was a stunning April day.  Friends and family gathered at Community Presbyterian Church in Danville. The groom, John, arrived. Followed by his bride-to-be, Heather.  In the warmth of the church and under the glow of the cross, the two said their vows.  A reception followed at Sunol Valley Golf Club.

Goin' to the Chapel...

In exactly two weeks from today, Rhonda will be getting married - but before every wedding, every bride-to-be needs a fun-filled bachelorette party!  A party bus from Black Tie Transportation picked up 14 lovely ladies and took them up to the stunning wine county that is Napa! The first stop was Domaine Carneros Winery, followed by Flora Springs Winery's Estate for lunch and wine tasting.  It was here that I met up with the party. I was to be a surprise to Rhonda and capture nearly 2 1/2 hours of beauty and fun.

...and the ladies arrive in style. Passing by rows and rows of grape vines up a private driveway to the enterance of

Great wine, a cave tour and some amazing food was awaiting them as they walked in!

Travis was our sommelier - the same name as Rhonda's fiance!

In to the caves they went! Everyone had tastings directly from the barrel - both tastings were a Napa Valley Cabernet - one was fermented in American Oak, the other in French Oak.

After the caves, everyone headed out to this beautiful spot overlooking the valley for lunch catered by Dean & Deluca of St. Helena. More wine was tasted - the highlight was the Trilogy!

But, the real highlight was...

Party planner Dana, made these awesome faces with a picture she received from fiance Travis.  When flipped around it read...

Goin' to the Chapel!

Obviously, it was proceeded by song, dance and more wine!

Congratulations Rhonda - many, many years of happiness with your hubby-to-be!

xoxo~Karey

P/HD+M [8, 9, 10, 11:52]

Okay - so I got behind again.  Here is a brief low down on what we did:

Week 8 - Home Depot was blessed with some crazy ladies! We picked up a bunch of flowers and some bulbs and took them back to our front yard! Hayden and I planted, Delaney played in the dirt.  I found an infestation of ants living under our garden gnome...

Week 9 - We "baked." It was awful.  Seriously, I messed it up.  Poor kiddos.  We *attempted* to make Tony Tiger bites (a recipe from good friend Jenn) and I think I burnt the peanut butter... I am going to attempt to remake these sometime soon.  If I get it right, I'll post the recipe. Promise.

Week 10 - Busy week! Okay - honestly didn't do much - we did go to a first birthday party! We spent some time in a bounce house and the girls had a sleepover with gaga, papa and auntie Laura!

Week 11 - Busy week! AGAIN! Hayden and I (no Delaney) went to a wrestling meet to help cheer on my school.  She decided very quickly that she never wants to wrestle. No argument here! We also went to dinner for my mom and sister's birthdays! We went to a new place (well, for us at least), De La Torre's in Pleasanton.  It was wonderful! On Saturday we all went to the mall - in all honesty, we never shop at the mall - so it was a bit of a treat.  We only went to Norstrom's, but we had lunch with Auntie Laura and shopped for shoes.  We went home empty handed.

P/HD+M [7:52]

Ah - this week was fun. Valentine's Day, parties, crazy kids and a ride in the convertible.  Doesn't get much better than that! This week also marked a few other things in, "life." February15 marked the 7 year anniversary of my grandmother's passing and her birthday was on February 17. I miss her so much. I wish she could have met my husband and my girls. But, it does bring peace to know that she's smiling down on them everyday.

Here she is in the middle with 4 of her sisters
(yes, there is another sister! She stayed back in Spain - yes, we are Spanish!)
Can you imagine 5 teenage girls in your house, all of the time??

February 17th also marked my Mother-in-law's birthday, followed by my hubby's birthday on February 19th.

Greg has also been itching to get out of the house and do something and since this California weather has been treating us so nicely, we decided it was a great time to head down to Monterey and visit the aquarium!

We have annual memberships to the aquarium - which pays for it's self in less than 4 days - plus you can bypass the entrance line and you get additional little perks during the year. Thank goodness for this membership - the line was unbelievably long on Sunday. I mean crazy long.  The place was totally packed.  We could barely push the stroller without running into someone.  It was like Disneyland after the fireworks. Nuts. We only stayed for a few hours - long enough to visit the penguins, see the otters get fed and pet some starfish.

P/HD+M [6:52]

Not much to write - we're back in the kitchen! This time for Valentine's Day cookies! I swear, next week we'll get out of the house! But what can I say, my girls love baking and making!
All of this yummy-ness purchased at Target.
Target tip - Buy great holiday-themed items (including cookie and cake mix) at 1/2 the price the day after the holiday.  Many times, items like this Betty Crocker cookie mix is exactly the same, just the packaging is a bit different! Great way to save a few bucks.
