Here we go!!

...and we're off... blogging away for the very first time.  As I'm sitting here writing this "blog," I wonder if I'll eventually forget about this blog, forget to up date in a timely manner or suddenly become an addicted, "blogger." I have no idea.  I guess we will all see...
This week has been a bit on the crazy side.  It started off with an engagement session for a beautiful young lady and her soon-to-be hubby.  I  have known her since she was in 8th grade, she is like a second sister to me and I love her like she was. We headed out to the city and spent nearly 2 hours hanging out in the cold capturing some great moments.  After the session I was glued to my computer editing away - It was so much fun! This romantic session was followed by a beautiful maternity session for a co-worker.  She is due with her second son on July 12th. Her gorgeous red hair and blue shirt made for some great moments at a local Danville park. On Thursday I had a "session" with a former student of mine.  I have been wanting to get this girl in front of my camera for some time - just because I wanted to really play with the results!   She has a contagious personality and a unique sense of style. Our session together has turned out one wickedly cool pictures - One of my favorites being one taken at the local Dublin Cemetery. On Friday, I had a commercial session for a local salon, Bellezza Cristali's. They are opening a new salon in Pleasanton and have hired me to do before, during and afters of the salon construction! It's a very family oriented salon and gives off amazing vibes.  I can't wait to be a client! Saturday wrapped up the photography end with a beautiful family of 5.  I went to school (and swam summer rec) with mom and our oldest kiddos went to school together this last year. My daughter, being a bit boy crazy, has already sat with me while I've been editing their session! The youngest two, twins, were so much fun to hang out with.  All of the kiddos have these deep, brown eyes that just capture your heart!
Aside from the business of photography during the week, we attended a 3rd birthday party on Saturday followed by our own birthday party for my dear Baby D who turned 1 on Sunday.  4th of July proved to be another great party - we spent it with friends BBQ-ing and watching fireworks - it definitely proved to be more entertaining than we had anticipated!
I hope all of you had a fun and safe 3-day week! Hey, the weekend is now only 4 days away!
Hopefully, I'll talk to ya'll soon!! :)
